Guyaguya Youth Shift Focus to Hon. Richard Ongorok Over Boundary Dispute


The youth of Guyaguya, despite previously supporting the independent and incumbent MP aspirant Hon. Bosco Okiror, have now set their sights on Hon. Richard Ongorok to address the long-standing conflicting boundary issue between Usuk and Ngariam counties.


They noted that the boundary dispute has for years been left unattended, yet it remains a very vital matter for peace, harmony, and good relations between the two communities. The unresolved boundaries have continued to cause misunderstandings and tension, affecting coexistence, administration, and development planning.

The youth expressed confidence in Hon. Ongorok’s leadership and ability to engage the relevant authorities to seek a clear and lasting solution. They emphasized that resolving the boundary issue will foster unity, stability, and shared progress, and called for inclusive dialogue that prioritizes harmony and the interests of the people above politics.
